Not being able to see the cameramen in shots, nonexistent. This movie has everything. You know that moment when in movies where there is a simple misunderstanding that could be easily explained, but instead of being normal and talking to each other they decide to base the second half of the movie off of one little misunderstanding but everything ends up fine in the end?
A schmaltzy, silly, corny, improbable rom-com, that manages to make the non-jaded smile and acquire a case of the warm feels.
Perfectly acceptable for all to watch, 2 to Suspension of disbelief comes in handy to truly enjoy the storyline. Nevertheless, it's a charming little film for Christmas.
I admit it; I like Christmas movies and was very happy when I first saw this one last season. It is, I'm happy to say, a new member of my Christmas pantheon, the movies I try to squeeze in during the season.
It is about a mailman who is single and raising his niece and a young woman who appears out of nowhere on special assignment -- she's staying at the local Post Office to answer all the letters they get to Santa.
She loves her job and gets along well with everyone but her boss, who thinks she's up to no good. A family friendly Christmas movie that is very pleasant and has a nicely fresh approach to a Christmas romance.
If you like Christmas movies, you may very well find a lot to like about this one. This is a charming film to watch with the family.
No new ground is broken here but it is a joy to watch and route for love to strike. IF you have little ones don't worry this is family safe entertainment.
In this film a lady answers letters to Santa. At the office she meets a post office worker who is the guardian of his niece. His niece also happened to of written a letter to Santa asking him to send a wife to her uncle.
Please watch this film with an open heart. Of all the great Christmas films, from It's a wonderful life to The Bishop's Wife, this film stands alone.
It's flawless plot is only surpassed my it's immaculate execution. Every character has incredible depth played by magnificent actors!

When Matt's boss grows suspicious of new hire Kristi, a "Santa Writer" whose job is responding to letters addressed to the North Pole, she recruits him to spy on her and report back with any unusual findings.
But the more time Matt spends observing Kristi, the harder he starts to fall for her until he's hopelessly in love. Later, when Kristi uncovers the clandestine plot, she quits her job and disappears without a trace.
Meanwhile, Matt searches high and low for her, to no avail. But when Kristi learns that Matt had no choice if he wanted to keep his job, it's only a matter of time before fate brings them back together.
Written by Anonymous. This movie should have been great. I loved the scenes with Ashley Scott. Great scenes with the lead actor AJ Buckley.
Loved the supporting cast Lochlyn as boss, Rolanda as coworker and Piper as that 8 year old kid with the big eyes. The movie failed in not adequately presenting the story in a dramatic way.
For example, the climax of the show which reveals who "Kristi North" really is, was done with a phone voice which you can barely understand. The writers and filming could have been more imaginative in letting the audience know some of the background information on the characters.
Enjoyed the characters but the movie lacked that emotional connection- no surprise. When you see a scene where actors are all throwing sprinkles at each other, there is probably something wrong with the movie.
